The Lopez Library houses an extensive collection of books for this small island community. Lopez Center for Community & The Arts
The Center is one of the hubs of island life. The large indoor pavillion and outdoor stage are used for a variety of community and performance events including plays, holiday potlucks, cultural dance performances, lectures, fundraisers, private weddings, and much more.
The Center is located on 7 acres of land in the middle of Lopez Viillage. The site also hosts the Children’s Center, The Family Resource Center, The Farmer’s Market, and a skateboard park. Check the event schedule and join in the local events. Contact: 360-468-2203

Family Resource Center
Strengthening Families for Life
The Lopez Family Resource opened its doors in 1997 to create family support services for students and their families on Lopez Island. The mission is to support and enhance the security, well being and education and life success of children and families on Lopez Island, in San Juan County.
The Family Resource Center supports community members with various needs including coordinating Lopez Fresh Food Bank, Reading and Mentoring Programs, Teen Programing, Summer Workshops, as well as operating an extensive computer and media center. In Lopez Village on the 2nd floor of the Children’s Center, across from the Clinic & Pharmacy.

Lopez Island Historical Museum
The Lopez Island Historical Society collects, preserves, shares and interprets local history among island residents and visitors in order to increase awareness and appreciation of the resource for the educational benefit of this and future generations.
Visit the various exhibits telling the story of Lopez’s unique culture and history. Located in the heart of Lopez Village on Weeks Road, across from Islander’s Bank. Open May-Sept, Wed-Sun, noon-4:00pm.
